Mofope attended top UK universities and holds business degrees in Economics & Accounting, International Business and a doctorate in Management. For the past 18 years she has worked as a management consultant across industries focusing on strategy, business analysis and performance management.
She started her career in the banking sector in Lloyds Bank, UK and then progressed into consulting as an analyst, subsequently leading several project engagements at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria. As a senior manager, she moved on to Saffron (now Nolan Nigeria) where she delved into education consulting for the first time.
Mofope’s transition into education consulting in the last 6 years has shaped and refocused her passion from supporting SME business owners towards providing career and life coaching for students and young professionals in order to give them the advantage of a great start. As an international student ambassador and President of the Afro-Caribbean society during her undergraduate years, she also offers a unique understanding of the international student experience.
Mofope is currently responsible for the Nigerian operations at SI-UK
Abuja Branch Manager
Mary Adejo has a strong career background in Marketing, Customer service, Administration, Teaching, Student Advisory and Visa Guidance. She has assisted several students to achieve their dream of overseas study in the top UK universities and Colleges. In her role as a seasoned career advisor and visa expert, she has worked with students and parents in order to make their dream of study abroad a reality over the past 11 years.
She is a graduate of sociology from Kogi State University along with training from 14 UK universities and also has NAVITAS UK Certificate for training among others. She is also CCAE (Canada Course for Education Agents) certified.
She joined SI-UK as the Branch Manager for Abuja and she finds her job quite interesting.
For the past 11 years she has worked in the international education sector, promoting UK Education and closely partnering with UK universities and colleges.
Lagos Branch Manager
Raymond has accrued a great deal of experience in assisting students to meet their study dreams abroad. A student counsellor with professional touch and well versed in all aspects of the UK education system. With vast experience in International education, Raymond has been able to offer professional, impartial, comprehensive and friendly advice to all students.
He possess more than 3 years of progressive experience in student recruitment where he has also gathered knowledge about the education, admission and immigration processes for Australia, Canada, USA and New Zealand. His professional history includes positions such as senior recruitment officer for University of Essex, Customer Service Team lead at MTN in Jos Plateau State as well as a Marketing Executive at Sterling Bank where he worked briefly.
Raymond has also undertaken vital training like Harvard customer focus, Effective intercultural relationship, Customer service training, Creating a positive attitude and moving from management to leading all at the MTN learning Academy. He is a very dynamic, tactful and resourceful individual with high level of discipline, hands –on attitude and disposition.
Gbemisola Temitope Abdul-martins
Gbemisola Temitope Abdul-martins is a Graduate of Business Administration from Lagos State University and holds a certificate qualification in Business and Management with the London school of Business Management distance learning in Nigeria.
Gbemisola has over seven years experience in the education counseling industry and prior to joining SI-UK she worked with Global International College as Hostel Matron/Counselor and Student counselor/International officer with Global Education Counseling as senior counselor. She was the international officer for University of Bedfordshire and University of Dundee for several years with GEC.
Gbemisola has built her career mostly in education counselling and she has vast experience in student counseling, career counseling and visa counselling in various destinations like the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
Tolu Yusuff joined the SI-UK Nigeria Team with close to five years of experience and uses his skills and knowledge to advise prospective students on career choice, study options and educational opportunities in top study destinations such as United Kingdom, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and UAE- through training and a good relationship with partner institutions.
Tolu believes working in career development and international education advisory is very rewarding because It involves connecting people to the right path and opportunities. He became passionate about seeking and sharing opportunities that foster development and an international experience for people when he enjoyed such opportunity representing Nigeria as a finalist and co-winner with Azerbaijan at the maiden edition of the Mondialogo Schools Contest (a DaimlerChrysler and UNESCO Sponsored Contest) in 2004 as a high school student.
Outside of career and international education advisory, he loves the performing arts, volunteering, traveling.
Student Counselor- Lagos Office
Yetunde Popoola is a graduate of History and International Studies. Prior to joining SIUK, she worked as a Customer care representative and a business developer; she is very passionate when it comes to getting a customer satisfied and meeting their needs with ease. This has shaped her to develop a strong customer relationship skill in education counselling. She has learnt a lot about customer satisfaction and has grown to become a customer service professional this led to her promotion as personal assistant to the director and also double as an education consultant.
Student Counselor - Abuja Office
Adebola is a graduate of History and Diplomatic Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University, with a Certificate qualification of Public Relation from Nigeria Institute of Public Relation. She also holds a certification from the Canada Course for Education Agents (CCEA)
Prior to joining SI-UK, Adebola worked with Jubilee Life Mortgage Bank and Preparation for Life Education as the Customer Service Executive, where she was able to develop a strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills. Adebola is currently responsible for creating market awareness, student counselling, submission of application and visa application services to both UK and Irish institutions at SI-UK.
